Our Community Room in the basement was renovated in 2009, and is open daily from 9:00 am to 11:00pm. It’s large enough for up to 75 people. It has lots of stackable red plastic chairs, and is the site of board, shareholder and resident meetings throughout the year.
Additionally, the large open space is ideal for more active play by children, who must be accompanied by an adult. And there’s an adjacent smaller playroom for younger children. It has a rubber floor and an assortment of age-appropriate toys. And a nice clean bathroom.
A bridge group—two tables—meets in the community room one evening a week (no charge), and a yoga class also meets in the room one evening a week (modest charge).
The Community Room is open for use by residents any time it’s not reserved for a private party or event. To reserve the room for your own soirée just read the rules, fill out the form, and contact the Community Room Committee.
